Creating a Gallery

Start by going to the dark gray bar on the left side of your website and selecting the Gallery Collection icon. Once you are on the Gallery Collection page, go to the top right corner and click on the blue Add Gallery Button. A popup will appear from the right side of the page. Give your Gallery a unique name you will recognize in the future and upload some images. You can either click on upload image and browse on your computer or drag and drop an image into the upload image area.

Managing your Gallery

Once you have created an image gallery, you can change the order of the images by dragging them, giving them captions, and adjusting the focal point for images that may be too large.

The focal point is where you want the center of the image to be.

Uploading images to your gallery

You can upload an image on your site in a few ways. 

  1. You can first drag and drop any local image files on your computer, such as .png, .jpg, .gif, and .svg.
  2. You can click on the upload image icon and navigate to an image file you want to upload to your gallery. You can also select multiple images to upload all at once.

Gallery Block - Add a Gallery to a page

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add an image and click the Edit link at the top. 
  2. Click where you want the image inserted in the page's content.
  3. The Add Block icon will show directly to the left of where your cursor is blinking. Press this button.

  4. Select the "Gallery" block option.
  5. You will have a choice to "Select" an existing gallery or "Create a new gallery":
    1. Selecting a gallery: You must set a few options when putting a gallery on the page.
      1. First of all, you will need to pick one of your galleries from the dropdown menu.
      2. Pick a display "Type" for your gallery.
        1. Slide Show - The image will be displayed as a slide show on a page.
        2. Mosaic—This option displays the images as close together as possible. It is the most mobile-friendly option, as it shuffles the photos to fit the screen on which the gallery is being viewed.
        3. Grid: This is a group of columns and rows of images. It is the classic way to display galleries.
      3. Click the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen.
    2. Creating a new gallery:
      1. Give your gallery a unique name that you will recognize in the future.
      2. You can add images to the new gallery by clicking "Upload Image" and browsing on your computer or dragging and dropping your photos into the "Upload Image" area.
      3. Pick a display "Type" for your gallery.
        1. Slideshow - The image will be displayed as a slide show on a page.
        2. Mosaic: This displays the images as close together as possible. It is the most mobile-friendly option, as it moves images to fit the screen on which the gallery is being viewed.
        3. Grid—This option arranges the images in columns and rows, the classic way galleries are displayed.
        4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom.
      4. Finally, click the blue "Publish" button near the upper right corner.
