To get to the website settings, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the website.
  2. Look for the dark gray admin menu on the left side of your page and select the last "Settings" gear icon.

General

Name & Contact

Name & Contact allows you to change the school or church name displayed at the top of every page and the contact information in the footer of your website.


Logo

Logo is where you can set the default logo for your church or school at the top of every page, the Favicon, and the Web Clip icon.


Localization

Localization allows you to change the default backend language of the website and the time zone for your website.


Domain & Email

Domains & Email is where you can add (park) domain names to the website and add email services to your domains.


Collections

Events

The Events collection gives you access to the settings specific to the website Calendar.


Media

The Media collection settings allow you to create podcast channels for your media and add tag groups to filter and share your audio and video into different media lists.


Store

The Store requires connecting to a third-party service called SnipCart, and allows you to create an online store for your church or school.

System

Audit Log

The Audit Log is a continuously updated list of all the changes made by each person who logs into the website.


Collection Builder

The collection builder is a very advanced database builder that requires knowing CSS, HTML, and the TWIG database calls.


Integrations

Integrations let you add third-party services like Analytics, Discuss, reCAPTCHA, Snipcart, Stripe, and more into your website.

Messages

Messages lets you add a customizable and visible "Top-Hat" notice message to the top of every website page. It also allows you to customize the website's legal notice and privacy policy.

 

Navigation

In Navigation, you can change the order of your website's main navigation pages and add new items.

To add a new Navigational item, click the Add button at the top right corner of the page. Then, select the Type of item you want to add.

  • Select Page to link to an existing page of your website and then select the page.
  • Select a link to create a navigation item to a website URL (another website, a link to a document, etc.).

Finally, click the blue Save button.

To change the order of the navigation items, grab the four-way arrow icon on the item you wish to move and drag it to where you want it to be placed.

Social Links

You can add links to your various social media platforms that will appear in several different locations based on the theme you are using. The typical locations where these links are displayed are at the top of the site (every page), at the bottom (every page), or both at the top and bottom.

  1. Go to the dark gray admin menu on the left and select the last "Settings" gears icon.
  2. On the new page, locate and click the "Social Links" icon near the bottom.
  3. Locate the box for the specific social media platform you want to add and type in (paste) the URL for your account.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click the blue "Save" button.

URL Shortcuts

With URL Shortcuts, you can shorten the links to pages. Here are the steps to setting up your URL Shortcuts:

  1. Go to the dark gray menu bar on the left and select the very last "Settings" icon.
  2. Now select the last "URL Shortcuts" option.
  3. In the upper right corner of the new page, click the blue "Add Shortcut" button.
  4. On the Add Shortcut dialog box, you will see three fields.
    1. Term
    2. For the "Type" option, you can select with a drop-down between either "Page" or "Custom URL".
    3. If you select "Page," you can choose any published page from the drop-down list.
      If you select "Custom URL," you can type or paste the webpage address into the "Custom URL" box.
  5. Click the blue "Save" button.
