Adding events
To add an event to your calendar, go to the dark gray Admin Menu on the left side of the webpage. Then, click the Events icon (which looks like a calendar) and click the List option. Finally, click the blue Add Event button in the top right corner. From here, you can fill out the form with information about your event, including the Title, Date/Time, if it repeats, details about the event, a category, and a location.
Edit Events
To edit a calendar event, go to your Admin Menu and click on the events collection. Once that opens up, click on the event you want to edit. A popup will appear with an option on it to edit an event. Click on edit.
Delete Events
To delete a calendar event, go to your Admin Menu and click on the events collection. Once that opens up, click on the event you want to delete. A popup will appear where you can edit and delete the event.
Settings
General
Adding the Sabbath sunset times (Friday and Saturday) to your calendar can add value and traffic to your website. The Sunset times are based on your physical location.
The address can be adjusted in the Name & Contact option of your website Settings (accessible as the last option in the dark gray admin bar). For addresses in the USA, it is best to ensure that your listed ZIP has only five digits (remove the dash and extra four digits if included).
To add sunset times to your website Calendar, follow these easy steps:
- Go to Events in the dark gray admin bar on the left side of your website.
- Next, select Settings.
- Select the General settings option.
- Click Yes for the "Show weekend sunset times" option.
- Click the blue Save button.
Categories
To create a new category, return to the dark gray menu on the left, select the Events calendar icon followed by Settings, and then choose Categories.
Click the blue Add Category button in the upper right corner, and give it a name and color.
To edit an existing category, go to the dark gray menu on the left, select the Events calendar icon followed by Settings, and then select the Edit button to the right of an existing category.
External
An external calendar from another provider, such as Google, Outlook, Yahoo, and others, can be added to the website calendar. To do so, you must find and copy the ICS URL for your provider's calendar, which will likely be in the provider's calendar settings.
When you have the ICS URL, go to the Admin Menu, click Events, and then Settings. A new page will pop up with an Icon that says External. Click on that, and you will be taken to a page where you can add and manage your External Calendars.
Click add and type or paste it into your calendar ICS URL.
